DEDICATED stompers and lovers of the outdoors are needed to help with walks across North Somerset.

Since North Somerset Council launched its Go4Life initiative in 2006 more than 3,000 people have enjoyed health walks across the district.

But the authority wants more volunteers to add to its current group of 70 walk leaders.

If you are interested in becoming a leader then you can book a place at the authority’s free training day at the Tithe Barn in Nailsea on September 25 from 10am-3pm.

To book a place call 01275 882731.
