THOUSANDS of pounds have been presented to charity following a traditional Somerset fundraiser.
The Stroke Association has been given £4,550 after a wassailing night arranged by Burnham Rotary Club and Watchfield-based Rich’s Cider.
The annual wassail – which keeps evil spirits away from the apple harvest – has grown each year with support from locals.
