Watch what you flush down the toilet!

PEOPLE in Weston and Worle are being urged to think twice what they flush down their toilet.

The Consumer Council for Water is calling on residents to use their loos responsibly following a rise in sewer blockages in the region.

The council says the blockages are often caused by items which don’t break down including face wipes, condoms and plasters.

It is holding World Toilet Day on Friday to get the message across to consumers.
