Watoto Children’s Choir returning to Weston for performance at Winter Gardens

A children’s choir from Uganda will entertain a Weston audience next week.
The Watoto Children’s Choir is made up of orphans, who act as advocates for millions of others in Africa who have experienced the same situation.
The choir raises money for a branch of Ugandan churches which build villages, schools, medical centres and homes.
Churches from around Weston have worked together to organise the event and the choir will perform at the Winter Gardens, in Royal Parade, on March 8 from 7.30-9pm.
The children’s choir will also perform at Ashcombe Children’s Centre.
Ashcombe governor and minister Claire Rogers said: “These children are incredibly brilliant at what they do.
“We are all very excited at their arrival into Weston.”
Tickets for the Winter Gardens show are free, but need to be booked in advance at www.eventbrite.co.uk by searching for Watoto Children’s Choir.
