Waxing legs to raise cash for carers

A CONVENIENCE store would normally be the place to get your last minute groceries or to pick up some household supplies - but this week it became a spot for an hour of leg waxing.
Staff members at Worle’s Co-op took a deep breath as they watched two brave volunteers get their legs stripped of hair, all in the name of charity.
John Rowsel and Matt Burland were the lucky duo who agreed to let Lynne Moody from Headlines salon wax their legs to raise cash for the Carers Trust.
The trust is part of The Princess Royal Trust for Carers and offers advice and support.
