The Met Office has issued a weather warning due to forecast strong winds on the morning of Monday, September 11, including in North Somerset.
The warning is of a spell of very strong westerly winds affecting much of the South West of England, and also South Wales.
The Met Office says winds are likely to peak around or just before morning rush hour, and some travel delays are likely, along with possible short term losses of power.
Coasts bordering the Bristol Channel are predicted to be affected more than other areas.
The worst of the winds are forecast to gradually ease later in the morning, although some strong gusts may persist into the afternoon.
