A WEATHER warning has been issued for North Somerset with the Met Office saying it looks like wintery showers are on their way today (Tues).

A WEATHER warning has been issued for North Somerset with the Met Office saying it looks like wintery showers are on their way today (Tues).

Experts are warning motorists of icy roads across the district and say snow or sleet is likely to spread across the region in the next 24 hours.

The public is advised to take extra care and refer to the Highways Agency for further advice on traffic disruption on motorways and other main roads.
