The festive event on Wednesday will see the village bustling with Christmas carollers, shoppers, Morris dancers and a silver juggler.
Following a candlelight carol service children from the area will carry out a parade of light. Youngsters are invited to attend in fancy dress. This year the theme is pantomime characters with the winner receiving four family tickets to see Jack in the Beanstalk at Weston's Playhouse theatre.
Businesses will open late with a candlelight theme and some might serve the odd glass of mulled wine.
A children's storyteller will be in The Swan courtesy of Waterstones book shop and the young farmers will have the freshest produce at their market.
The Borough will be closed to traffic and there will be a pig roast and roasted chestnuts.
Father Christmas has also managed to fit the event into his busy schedule to attend.
