Wessex Water will be giving away shopping vouchers in Weston later this week while asking customers what they think of its plans for the future.

The water company is discussing its proposed business plan, which will shape the areas it invests in from 2020 to 2025.

Sue Lindsay, director of customer policy and engagement, hopes people will take a look at its ideas for the future.

She said: “Thousands of customers have already given their views on the areas they feel we should be investing in from 2020 to 2025 to maintain and improve the services we provide.

“We’ve produced a plan which takes on board these views and now we’re reaching out again to customers to check they’re happy with what we’re proposing.”

It will submit its business plan to the industry regulator Ofwat once it has consulted with customers.

Wessex Water will be in the Sovereign Shopping Centre on Thursday.
