FORTY young Weston dancers have earned rave reviews during their stage debut at London's West End.
Weston-based The Dance Company – a troupe of young performers aged between five and 17 – impressed onlookers with their performance at Her Majesty’s Theatre.
The venue, the home of hit musical Phantom of the Opera, played host to Bobby Dazzlers, a Grande Productions event designed to give talented youngsters from around the UK to perform on a major capital stage.
School principals Marina Fairhead and Carla Dakin said they were thrilled to be one of only eight schools around the country invited to perform.
They said: “We are incredibly proud of the children and are delighted to have been chosen, it has been an amazing and unforgettable experience for everyone involved.”
