Weston Air Festival and Armed Forces Weekend is a little more than a week away, so here is everything you need to know about what is going on in the skies and on the ground during the event.
Thousands of spectators are expected to flock to the town on June 17-18 to see a mixture of aerobatic displays and armed forces celebrations. The event will run from 9am to 6pm each day, with flight displays beginning at 1pm each day.

The event is organised by North Somerset Council, working alongside Weston-super-Mare Town Council and the Weston Business Improvement District.
The Red Arrows have been confirmed for both days of the festival on the Saturday, and there will be displays from the RAF Eurofighter Typhoon.
Armed Forces Weekend
Weston Air Festival has once again combined with Armed Forces Weekend to create an event which attracts around 140,000 people to the town.
The Armed Forces Weekend is formed around four major components; a veterans’ parade, an armed forces village, arena displays and a drumhead service.
The parade is open to all, and veterans are encouraged to lead the display. The parade will assemble on the seafront, near the Grand Pier, at 11.30am on Saturday, June 17. At noon it will parade along the promenade into the arena and at 12.15pm an Armed Forces Day flag will be raised.
Throughout the afternoon there will be charity presentations and displays, including a field gun display, a pike and musket display, and silent drill display, as well an inter-service cadet tug of war competition and band performances.
On Sunday, June 18, the flat will be raised at 10am and once again there will be displays throughout the day. A drumhead service will begin at 3.30pm.
