A tea party was held to celebrate Weston General Hospital’s League of Friends’ 60th anniversary.

The Weston-super-Mare group provides new equipment for the hospital and is currently raising up to £400,000 for new digital scanning equipment, in an appeal supported by the Mercury.

At the tea party, members looked at newspaper cuttings from the past 60 years.
