Weston General Hospital's bosses to give update at annual meeting on Wednesday

The people in charge of running Weston General Hospital will talk about its performance in the past year and a plan for its future at a public event this week.

The hospital’s bosses will give presentations to the public on the plan for its future, the state of its finances, and an update on changes made in the past year.

Weston Area Health NHS Trust, which runs the Grange Road hospital, is hosting its annual meeting on Wednesday.

The Trust’s chief executive James Rimmer will give an overview of the hospital’s performance during the past year and discuss what is planned for its future.

There will also be presentations from the hospital’s medical director Dr Peter Collins, director of nursing Helen Richardson, director of operations Phil Walmsley, and interim director of finance Steve Simmons.

The meeting will take place at The Blakehay Theatre in Wadham Street on Wednesday.

It will run from 3-5pm and refreshments will be available.
