THE chance to learn about the history of Weston and take part in a guided walk is on offer next month.

A walk about famous Weston figures will be held on September 9, starting at the fishpond in Prince Consort Gardens near Birkett Road.

On September 23, a walk about building in the town will start at the entrance to The Old Town Quarry in South Road.

Each walk will start at 2pm and last roughly two and a half hours, costing £3. No dogs will be allowed, according to North Somerset Council, which organised the walks.
