Women gathered to celebrate a landmark anniversary last weekend.
An afternoon tea to mark 125 years of the Girls’ Brigade was held at Milton Baptist Church, in Baytree Road, on Saturday.
An exhibition of more than 120 photographs and memorabilia was also on display.
The Second Weston Company closed in 2012 after 79 years due to a lack of officers and helpers.
About 60 past members and friends enjoyed an afternoon of renewed friendships.
Organiser Edna Fuller said: “We were reminded of our motto, seek, serve and follow Christ.
“Joy Spencer, a member in our early days, opened a memory box which we had put together on our 50th anniversary.
“Reverend Roger Collins then remembered in prayer the girls and officers who had passed away when our company was running, also those who were unable to be with us.”
