A Weston charity is looking for three professionals to join its board of trustees.

Weston Hospicecare is overseen by a group of unpaid trustees which plays a key role in ensuring the charity provides excellent palliative care to people with life-limiting conditions.

The hospice, which is based in Uphill, is looking to recruit two new trustees from a medical background – palliative care experience would be particularly welcome – and one with financial expertise.

Chair of trustees Judi Driscoll said: “As a trustee, you will play an important role and – with your fellow trustees – will be responsible for ensuring the good governance of Weston Hospicecare and helping us to deliver our strategy, which is to work to make sure that everyone we care for can live as well as they can for as long as they can.”
