Weston Hospicecare has launched its Christmas postal service.

People can save money on posting cards while raising money for the charity through the Onepost Christmas stamp campaign.

Those keen to post Christmas cards can save up to 6p per stamp while the hospice will receive 9.5p from each stamp sold.

To use the service, people can take their addressed cards to any Weston Hospicecare shop or Jackson-Barstow House in Uphill, apply the purchased stamps to the card and give the cards to staff.

Director of retail Gemma Turner hopes it will raise key funds for the charity.

She said: “This is a great initiative for people to save money on postal costs for the festive period while raising funds for the hospice.”

The final collection date for cards is December 10.

People keen to use the scheme must post cards through the hospice on or before December 10.
