WORLE Lions raised £2,000 at its summer fun day, and pledged 50 per cent of the money to Weston Hospicecare.

The fun day took over Baytree Recreation Ground and Sylvia Cook, from the Lions club, said: “We are committed to supporting our local hospice who give such a wonderful service to patients and family. We were delighted to present them with £1,000.”
