Hundreds of families enjoyed a day out at Weston Model Railway Exhibition at the weekend.

The town’s 13th show was held at The Campus in Highlands Lane and saw dozens of model train enthusiasts displaying their incredible creations.

Talented designers from across the country showcased models based on both real life and fictional railways, many of which were complete with sounds and lights.

As well as the fascinating selection of models, the show also boasted demonstrations from the likes of Sandford Station Society and the Weston N Gauge Society as well as numerous trade stalls.

The show has raised more than £37,600 for Weston Hospicecare and almost £6,000 for the Castle Kids Club throughout its history.

The next show will be held on September 9.
