Weston mums' new donation scheme

MUMS of Weston are grouping together to help out people in need as part of a new scheme in partnership with a food donation charity.
Weston-super-Share is an initiative set up by parents group Weston-super-Mum with Weston Foodbank.
Members are being asked to donate whatever they can to help out other families.
The foodbank already donates food to people in need so the group decided to help out by giving away other items too.
Donations could be anything from nappies and baby wipes to toilet roll and soap.
Weston-super-Mum founder Becky Condron said: “When you’re in the supermarket, pick up an extra packet of wipes or jar of baby food and donate one to Weston-super-Share.
“By giving a little, you can help a lot.”
People can leave donations with the group who will then take them to the foodbank.
She said: “They will then be given to local families who, for whatever reason, are in need of support.”
You can donate items at Barcode Youth Café on Thursday mornings or at the Purple Sheep Centre in Hughenden Road on the first Saturday of each month. To find out more and take part in the scheme, go to www.westonsupermum.com
