Art, music therapy and nostalgia boxes were on offer during a dementia awareness event at Weston Museum.
Families United Against Dementia was organised by the museum and the Alzheimer’s Society.
People listened to oral histories which had been recorded at memory cafés in Sandford and Locking.
Mike Measham played songs on his guitar before discussing the benefits of music therapy.
Jane Hill, from Weston Museum, said: “I’m really pleased with how it went. “We had a really good turnout and we’d love to do it again.”
The event was made possible thanks to a shared heritage grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
