LEGO-making sessions with a pirate theme were held at Weston Museum during the Easter weekend.
The event was so popular it sold out on Saturday, with a number of children visiting the museum, in Burlington Street, to get creative with the popular toy.
The youngsters re-imagined tropical islands, buried treasure, and ships steered by pirates as they built their designs.
They were inspired by the museum’s temporary exhibition showcasing the history of beards and tattoos.
The museum also worked alongside the Children’s Scrapstore Weston to host some craft-making sessions where children made swords, hats and even a pirate costume for a potato.
Throughout this week, there have been other activities including pirate crafts, sand art and a lucky dip.
