A history learning programme run by Weston Museum is expanding and needs more volunteers.

The museum, in Burlington Street, is closed for a £1million refurbishment until next year.

In the meantime, volunteers are taking handling boxes to primary schools and community groups to inspire a love of history.

The project is now expanding to provide sessions for home educators.

Volunteers will receive training and historical information, and the role can be fit around other commitments.
