Weston Museum has started a nostalgia café featuring some retro board games.

The museum, in Burlington Street, launched the café yesterday (Wednesday) morning.

The events will feature retro board games, and give people the chance to rummage through the reminiscence boxes and take some trips down memory lane.

Visitors will be able to meet new people and have a chat over a coffee and homemade cake.

A museum spokesman said: “Visitors will be able to play their favourite vintage board games as well as get hands on with some of our reminiscence boxes, including vintage objects from home and kitchen, the sweet shop and many more.

“Weston Museum always promotes a safe and caring environment, perfect for a meeting new people and making new friends.”

The nostalgia café will take place every Wednesday, from 10.30am to noon.
