Signalling fault causes train delays in Weston

There are cancellations to rail services at Weston-super-Mare this evening (Monday) because of a fault with the signalling system.

Some lines have re-opened, but train services due to run through Weston Railway Station may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or diverted between Worle and Burnham and Highbridge.

The disruption is expected to last until 6.55pm.

Customers can use their tickets on the following First buses:

• X2: Weston-Super-Mare - Weston Milton - Worle - Yatton - Nailsea & Backwell (Crossroads) - Bristol (Bus Station).

• X1: Weston-Super-Mare - Weston Milton - Worle - Nailsea & Backwell (Crossroads) - Bristol (Bus Station Bay 9)

• 126: Weston-Super-Mare (Alexandra Parade) - Weston Milton (The Borough Arms)

• X5: Weston-Super-Mare (Oxford Street) - Weston Milton (The Borough Arms) - Worle (New Bristol Road)
