A PARKINSON'S awareness event is taking place in Weston next month for people suffering from or connected to the disease.
The event will be a chance for people affected by Parkinson’s to meet, share stories and have a cup of tea.
Jayne Dunn, organiser for Parkinson’s UK in the South West, said: “We want to reach as many people as possible to show them that there is support available, to show that there are ways to manage it effectively.
“It is a very isolating condition because of the way it affects people.
“It is important to show that there are people willing to help.”
The event is at Victoria Methodist church hall on Station Road from 2-5pm on November 1.
