A SONG about the seaside is set to go global, leaving its Weston composer amazed.

Paul Hobbs wrote a song about the resort’s attractions two years ago and earlier this year was approached by a German education firm who wanted to use it to teach English.

Not only will half a million students be learning about Weston, it has been remixed into a dance track by Leopard Music Group.

Paul is amazed by how the It’s Summer track has proved such a hit.

He added: “I’m thrilled about the way is gaining momentum with different audiences. The song is a natural to become a dance track anthem in Britain’s seaside resorts this year and the European interest in Germany is an added bonus.”

The song has now been released and is available to download.
