Julie Sketchley and Janie Workman raised £230 for Asda’s Tickled Pink campaign, which supports Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now, and aimed to raise awareness around the disease which affects one in eight women in the UK.

The pair hosted a range of events at Janie’s Weston Hair and Beauty Supplies business including a raffle and a ‘guess the stylist’ competition.

Janie organised the event with the support of her sister and in partnership with the Cedars Surgery Worle Medical Practice where Julie works.

Julie said: “We know family and friends that are suffering and wanted to raise money for them.
