A street food market will be held in the centre of Weston at the end of next week.

The Italian Gardens will again play host to dozens of producers on August 24.

As well as the array of food there will be plenty of craft beer, cider and prosecco flowing.

Live music will be provided by a DJ and children will be entertained by balloon-modelling, face-painting, and Punch & Judy shows.

The event is being organised by the couple behind Eat: Weston, Beverley and Sarah Milner Simonds, and run in partnership with North Somerset Council and Weston BID.

Beverley said: “We want to create a welcoming event that draws people into the town who maybe don’t think there is anything for them, or their family.”

The street food market will not use single-use plastic and anyone cycling to the festival can make the most of a free bike check from Weston Bicycle Works.

The market will run from 4-9pm on August 24.
