Weston-super-Mare AFC have announced a community pay what you want day as the Seagulls take on Eastbourne Borough in a 3pm kick-off at the Woodspring.

Entry prices will be reduced from normal to only a £1 minimum donation for non-season ticket holders.

Upon entry, fans will be asked to complete a quick Q&A which will automatically enter them into a competition to win a free season ticket for the 2019/20 campaign.

The Seagulls’ managing director, Oli Bliss, said: “We are a club for the community and I feel putting on events like this are great for us all because it gives everyone a chance to have a good day out at very little cost.

“I’m sure everyone will have a great day and the team will entertain you with a great performance.”

Weston have endured a poor start to their National League South season, sitting bottom of the table and without a victory in their six matches.

All fans are asked to use the club function room located at the front of the stadium instead of the turnstiles.
