Travel disruptions after person is hit by a train at Weston Milton station

There are major travel disruptions in Weston-super-Mare tonight (Tuesday) after a person was hit by a train at Weston Milton station.

The line between Worle and Weston is blocked, with replacement First Bus services available.

There are two police cars and two ambulances at the scene, with the person’s condition unknown.

Great Western Railway says disruption is expected until at least 7.30pm tonight.

People travelling to Weston and Weston Milton should change at Worle for buses which stop on New Bristol Road, a five minute walk from Worle station.
