A Weston man has published his first novel and is hoping the town can enjoy his work.

Justin Newland is hoping Genes of Isis will eventually be sold in Weston’s Waterstones store.

He told the Mercury: “It is a fantasy and history novel as that is always something I have been interested in.

“I wanted to look at things a bit differently while still making it a fantasy novel.”
