Directors of a transportation company returned to work to discover the wreckage of their broken-into van after the bank holiday weekend.
Harley Masters and Ben Louca, who run Weston business 9trak Ltd, found their Ford Transit Custom vehicle smashed-up at the town's industrial estate in Gazelle Road on Tuesday morning.
The van was worth around £26,000 and the company rented it from car-hire business Enterprise for less than six months.
A business next door captured the incident on its CCTV, which lasted around three and a half hours from around 11.30pm on Monday night, but did not pick up any incriminating evidence.
Harley said: "When I arrived at work on Tuesday morning at around 6.40am, I thought the van had been involved in an accident.
"Those responsible have taken the whole front off, ripped off the vehicle's protection guard, side trims, wing mirrors, bonnet, slam-panel doors - we practically had it from new."
Harley explained the van was torn apart to give an older version of the same model a 'facelift' - which has rendered their one a write off.
Harley continued: "The business can get another work vehicle from Enterprise within a day.
"If the van had been off the road and was booked in for work, we would've lost earnings.
"There's no doubt we will see pay increases and insurance premiums rise because of this."
Ben said: "They have gone to town on it and thousands of pounds' worth of van is now worthless.
"Enterprise has been helpful getting us up and running, but it's £800 a month to rent out a van we can no longer use.
"We pay our business rates, council tax and the fact is we want the police to take this seriously."
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Constabulary said: "We are investigating the theft of vehicle parts from a Ford Transit Custom van which was parked in a yard at Gazelle Road in Weston.
"Items stolen included the front bumper, wings and back/side and front doors.
"The offence happened between 7.30pm on Saturday and 6.40am on Tuesday. If you have any information about this offence, call 101 and give the call-handler the reference number 5219099576."
