Firefighters tackled a blaze in a Weston-super-Mare flat this afternoon (Thursday).
Crews from Portishead, Nailsea and Bedminster were called to a ground floor flat in Milton Road at 2.49pm.
Four firefighters used high pressure hose reels and positive pressure ventilation fans to extinguish the fire and extract smoke from the property.
The police also attended and both services are still at the scene.
