Football fans have the chance to save money watching their local club with an early bird season ticket offer, despite match prices increasing.

Weston Football Club, in Winterstoke Road, has this week announced its match day price will rise from £10 to £12 to watch the team, who play in the National League South. However, early bird season tickets will be available to purchase for £149 up until May 12.

This would equate to £7.10 per match and entitles supporters to watch all the Seagulls’ home league games.

Neil Keeling, commercial director said: “Two years ago we reduced our ticket prices, as a thank you to our loyal supporters and to encourage new fans through the gate. This increase mirrors those of the 2014/15 season.

“The open day was a great success. I’ve had a hard look around, and even with this increase we are still priced below the average league ticket price.”
