Weston-super-Mare friends unite to help Gracie

Two friends from Weston-super-Mare took on a half-marathon challenge having 'never run before' to help a little girl walk.
Five-year-old Gracie suffers from spastic diplegia cerebral palsy and is unable to walk unaided.
There is an operation she can have but it will cost £60,000.
Kirsty Lightowler and Emily Thompson ran the Cardiff half-marathon and this week presented a cheque for more than £700 to Gracie and her family.
Kirsty said: “Neither of us had ever run long distances. I still hate running, but raising £735 made it all worthwhile.”
