A Weston-super-Mare man has screened his cutting-edge TV series at Europe's biggest vlogging convention in London.

Corry Raymond, aged 23, moved from Weston to London in 2015 after pitching an idea to Channel 4 and landed a role directing and producing the documentary series Urban Explorers.

The series was a hit and Corry has been pegged by BAFTA as an up-and-coming filmmaker.

Now he has screened his next venture, Vlog Stars, a comedy about growing up as a millennial, which he screened at London’s Summer In The City festival.

He said: “The series is about my experiences growing up on the internet; it’s where I used to go after school, where I would experiment with making films, and to me it felt like being online was like going somewhere that physically exists.”

The series was pitched to YouTube, winning Raymond chance to shoot the first episode in its studio YouTube Space London.
