Children and adults alike sat down to build fantasy worlds out of LEGO at the museum in Burlington Street.

The creations included a sinking ship, a tropical paradise and a shark attack.

A museum spokesman said: “We were amazed by the imagination and creativity, well done everyone.

“There will be pictures going on display in our new mini display board on the ground floor this week.

“This will be where we will show a changing display of school projects, museum events and community displays linked with our community gallery.”

Its next event is a night at the museum experience where historic characters will come to life tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday at various times.

Tickets, priced £5-7, can be bought in the museum’s reception or on 01934 621028.
