In February Prezzo’s owners TPG Capital announced it would close a third of its 300 restaurants across the UK amid declining sales, leaving doubt over whether it would fulfil its place at Dolphin Square.

But the Mercury has been told the Weston branch is not earmarked for closure.

Prezzo brand manager, Marie Neocleous, says: “We are really excited to welcome our customers into our new Prezzo restaurant in Weston.

“Our new restaurant unveils our fresh new look, a variety of dining concepts and lots of exciting menu options, including our recently launched, charcoal infused based black pizzas.

“Prezzo Weston is an ideal destination for pasta, pizza and drinks at lunch time or for an evening meal.”
