Jacob finished a sponsored walk to raise money for the two North Somerset organisations who have helped to provide care and support for him and his family since his cerebral palsy diagnosis three years ago.

Jacob underwent life-changing surgery in America in 2016.

Due to the success of the operation, Jacob now walks with the aid of a walking frame and his mum, Nicola Baird, organised the event to highlight Jacob’s progress.

It is furthest distance Jacob has walked on his own.

He completed the challenge in 25 minutes and has since raised £1,700 for the North Somerset Portage Service and Conductive Education Bristol.

The money raised from the event will be spilt equally between the two charitable groups.
