Weston-super-Mare's nursery writers to have first poem published

Children from Weston's Little Angels nursery and preschool have written their very first poems - and now they will be published.
The children entered their poems in to a My First Poem competition and were chosen to have them made into a book.
They were given a template and each child filled in the blank spaces with their own words. They were then sent off to be judged and Natasha King, who is the nursery manager, told the Mercury she is ‘very proud’ of them all and cannot wait to receive the finished book.
She said: “I am very proud of them and we will get the books in July.
“They each have a certificate now and we can give that to them to take home for their parents.
“It is a really lovely thing we can keep.”
The Little Angels children were chosen from a number of entries across the country.
