A parents association held a successful event for a sea cadet unit.

Weston-super-Mare Sea Cadets’ Parents and Supporters Association (PSA) welcomed more than 30 people to a bingo night at the unit’s headquarters in Sunnyside Road North.

PSA vice-chairman Sharon Winter said: “The bingo raised more than £150 pounds for the cadets which will go towards a number of projects we are working on.

“It was a very successful evening and everybody seemed to have a great time.”
