A course which will help adults to live a healthy and active lifestyle is launching tomorrow (Thursday).

The Get Ready for Change course will run for six-weeks and it will offer people a chance to overcome the challenges associated with losing weight.

It has been organised by the mental health partnership Positive Step in Weston and it will be held in its Coast Resource Centre in Diamond Batch road.

Each session is two hours long and the topics covered include healthy and balanced eating and dealing with cravings.

The course is free and starts tomorrow at 6.30pm.

People who wish to take part are asked to fill in a registration form on the partnership’s website by 2pm on the course start date.

Those applying must be aged 18 and above and have a body mass index of between 25 and 40.
