Images of a crying girl and the Corpse Bride have appeared on the walls of Weston-super-Mare businesses this week.

Three new pieces of street art have been created at prominent spots in the town, including a girl crying over spilled paint by the entrance to the Seaton Hotel, in Beach Road. The piece is titled Spilled Anarchy.

A girl sitting on a swing held up by balloons has also been created on the side of the Break charity shop, in Meadow Street. The piece is similar to one by Scallys, in Carlton Street.

The artworks are the latest by Weston-based artist JPS, whose real name is Jamie Scanlon.

Jamie was joined by his fiancée Steffi Hòfling – who goes by the name PZY – who shared her love of film director Tim Burton with her depiction of the Corpse Bride on the wall of MT Games, in Meadow Street.

The pair have just returned from a trip to Norway and Germany, where they worked on another art project
