Weston Quilters is hosting its biennial exhibition to raise money for Weston Hospicecare.
More than 90 quilts will be on display during the two-day event which is being held at Weston’s Boulevard United Reformed Church, in Waterloo Street this Friday and Saturday from 10-4pm.
Two hundred people are expected to attend, and this year’s competition includes a traditional 90x90 sized quilt category, as well as a where in the world and a stained glass window entry.
The event is celebrating its first year at the church where it was previously hosted at the town’s Winter Gardens venue in Royal Parade.
The club would also like to thank the person who donated the quilt pictured above to the Hub distribution centre, owned by Weston’s Hospicecare, which will be given as a prize in this years raffle.
