A Weston Town Council meeting where anyone can speak will take place on Monday.

The annual meeting gives members of the public the chance to comment on any item from the town council’s annual report.

The report reviews the authority’s year, and will cover its activities in promoting tourism, parks, and the events it runs.

Town councillors will also talk about its work with Weston Museum and the Blakehay Theatre, and also confirm the final budget spending for 2017/18.

The meeting is different to other ones held by the town council as the public will get a chance to speak, and there is
an agenda item for matters raised by members of the public.

The meeting will take place in Weston Town Hall, in Walliscote Grove Road, at 6.30pm, and doors open at 6.15pm.

It will be followed by the full town council meeting, which starts at 7pm.
