Tropicana talent show for learning disability charity

A talent contest wil be held at the Tropicana on Friday to raise money for people with learning disabilities in Weston.

Birnbeck Cent’sational Starz will take place at the Tropicana from 6pm to midnight in support of Leonard Cheshire Disability, which runs Birnbeck House and Quantock House care homes.

Money raised will go towards creating a sensory garden for people the charity supports in Weston.

Sarah Granger, service manager for the homes, said: “The evening includes performances from local talent Molly Harvey, Lauren Male and Jamie Loosley.

“The main show is a talent competition.

“We have 13 secured acts including singers, a magician, choir and gymnastics entry.

“There will also be a raffle on the evening.”
