What's on this weekend?

FROM markets stalls to free festivals, there's plenty going on for families, youngsters or anyone at a loose end this weekend throughout Weston and beyond.
Here’s a roundup of everything that’s going on:
*Bleadon: A Market will be held in the Coronation Hall in Coronation Road from 9am-12.30pm.
*Hutton: An afternoon tea organised by the Hutton Support Group of Weston Hospicecare will be held at the village hall in Main Road from 3pm.
*Locking: Locking Preschool in Grenville Avenue will hold an open day from 1.30-4pm to launch its forest school. Forest taster sessions will include marshmallow roasting, den making and a treasure hunt led by two qualified rangers.
*Mead Vale: A coffee morning and cake stall will be held at the community hall in Redwing Drive at 10am.
*A Father’s Day celebration run by Mead Vale Church will be held at The Nightjar pub at 10.30am tomorrow (Sun).
*Sandford: Congresbury Brass Band will perform at Hill View in Green Hill Lane during a cream tea event tomorrow (Sun). The event runs from 2-5pm and will feature a tombola and plant sale, with proceeds going to Children’s Hospice South West.
*Weston: A festival celebrating the talent of the town’s young people will take place in Grove Park, High Street today (Sat) and Sunday. Boomfest will feature live music from bands across North Somerset, dance performances, art installations and gymnastics and martial arts demonstrations. Visitors can also help create a piece of art called Secrets, which is a sculpture made of personalised plastic bottles. The free event runs from 10am-9pm today and 11am-6pm tomorrow.
*Wick St Lawrence: A fun dog show will be held at Ebdon Bow, next to the caravan site, from noon to 4.30pm. The event will include refreshments, stalls and a tombola.
*Winscombe: The primary school in Moorham Road will hold its summer fete from 12.30-4pm. Admission is 50p and all proceeds will to go the school.
*Yatton: A talk will be given by Neil and Christine Hamilton on the Magna Carta at a celebration at the Bridge Inn in North End Road.
