A 50-STRONG ensemble of Worle musicians wowed the crowds at a harvest prom.

The WorleWind Band travelled down to Bridgwater to play its first proms concert.

The band combined Last Night Of The Proms favourites, such as Land Of Hope And Glory, with swing and easy-listening music.

Musical director Julia Ractliffe said: “We’re a young band and it’s the first prom we’ve done, so we were delighted to be so well received.”
