Staff and young people connected to a popular village youth club are celebrating after they received a generous donation from another organisation in their community.

Yatton Youth Club is hoping to raise £50,000 to repair its decaying building in Rock Road.

Although club members are holding their own fundraisers to support the project, the club said it was delighted after it received a donation of more than £1,100 from the village WI branch on February 13.

To donate to the club contact Niccy Hook on 07706 381744.
